RockTape: An Overview

RockTape is a premium Kinesiology tape brand. In Japan, initially used by acupuncturists and chiropractors, today, kinesiology tape is used by a wide range of health practitioners worldwide to prevent and treat both accidents and pain.

Upon proper application, the peculiar elasticity of RockTape causes the skin to form convolutions and wrinkles. It decompresses tissue right under the surface. This is assumed to have three principal effects: a Fluid Effect, where the blood and lymphatic flow in the tape region increases.

There is also the Mechanical Effect, which enhances the slide and glide between layers of tissue, and the Neurological Influence, which alters pain perception and increasing body sensitivity.

Benefits of Using RockTape

RockTape helps to relieve discomfort and to minimize swelling and bruising. This offers practical support while allowing maximum movement freedom and is hypoallergenic, without zinc oxide or latex. The tape is waterproof as well and can be worn for up to 5 days.

RockTape is the best kinesiology video in the country. These may be used for treating sport and non-sport injuries, including shin splints, plantar fasciitis, knee and back pain from athletes.

RockTape raises the skin microscopically away from beneath the muscle and fascia, producing a decompressing effect. Athletes and medical professionals all over the world enjoy RockTape more elastic, stickier, and heavier than the competition.

Step-By-Step Guide

Start with our regular 2-inch tape and measure from above the knee to just below the kneecap the first stripe. Split this length into two lines. Measure the third line, running around and under the kneecap, from one side of the knee to another.

Round the edges of the tape so as not to catch on boots or clothes. Stretch out the skin by knee bending. Tear an end then tie over the knee with the first line, strip on the outside of the knee. Taking the release paper forward, taping around the knee outside. Then stop inward, just below the kneecap.

Tear an end, then tie above the knee for the second strip of tape, peel it onto the inside of the knee. Taking the release paper forward, tap around the inside of the foot. And runoff, just below the kneecap.

To remove the adhesive, tear down the center of the final stripes release document. Using the tape just below the kneecap, with a slight stretch. Attach a slight curve to the end and then lay it without stretch. Repeat for the remaining bottom, then rub the adhesive.
