For one study published in the Scientific Reports, the researchers asked 20 healthy participants to drink just six bottles of various juices a day for 3 days. 

The juices included a range of ingredients, such as vegetables, oranges, cucumbers, garlic, cayenne pepper, and vanilla beans. Participants lost an average of 1.7 kilograms (kg) or 3.75 pounds (lb) on a rapid basis. 

After 2 weeks of follow-up, their weight remained on average 0.91 kilograms or 2.01 lb. By the end of the 3 days, participants did not experience improved levels of well-being, but they reported that these levels were higher 2 weeks after the clean-up.
